Jurassic Park is disaster film about a dinosaur park, famous for its
break-through visual effects of the time. It's very typical Steven
Spielberg: technically spotless, but with plasticy characters and a plot of
questionable quality. Jurassic Park works fine as a movie of its type, but
wouldn't be remembered were it not for its visual effects that were the
leading edge back in 1993. The effects aren't entirely credible for today's
viewer, but just good enough that they don't detract from the experience.
Ariana has a stereotypical role a child who keeps running away from the
dinosaurs. As such, her character Lex doesn't have much dialogue or
character development. She is nonetheless well-remembered by her line "It's
a Unix system, I know this," when sitting down to use a completely silly
"virtual reality" computer user interface at the corporation's computer.
